Komal Bhatia from Sector 22, Faridabad shares her experience. She has a 9-room home (2 floors) where 10 people are living. She has 13 fans, 40 bulbs, 4 TVs, 2 washing machines, 3 refrigerators, 1 press, 5 geysers, 2 air conditioners, 2 coolers, 1 microwave, 2 motors, a single inverter, etc. in her home. She told me that her electricity bill of 2 months (May & June – 2020) was Rs. 10,000.
At the same time, Muskan Anand is from Green Field Colony Faridabad and shared her experience. She has a 3 BHK home where 6 people are living. She has 8 fans, 10 tube lights, 20 led bulbs, 1 TV, 3 air conditioners, 1 refrigerator, 1 washing machine, 1 water pump, a single inverter battery, etc. in her home. She told me that her electricity bill of 2 months (May & Jun – 2020) was Rs. 15,000.

After analyzing above electricity bill, we found that an average rate of electricity in India is approx. Rs. 7 units and average monthly electricity bill is Rs. 1000. According to solar experts, only 25% homes electricity bill is more than one-thousands (i.e. monthly electricity bill > Rs. 1000) in India. Refrigerator - It should be 4 to 5 Star which consume is about 10W to 40W.

#a. AC Module
AC Module is better than the traditional grid-connected solar system. It does not require any net-metering approval. In case, one installs an AC module, the consumer will be able to run his home appliances on solar power, in just three days of installation.
